While working remotely, employees are responsible to adhere to all the conditions in the Employee Handbook. All company policies surrounding conduct, confidentiality, sick leave, etc continue to apply, regardless of location.
Remote employees must choose a quiet, discretion-free working space. You must have an internet connection that is adequate for their job and you must dedicate your full attention to their job duties during working hours.
Remote employees must follow the work schedules provided to them, attend scheduled meetings, be sure to meet deadlines, uphold high-quality standards and submit daily reports. While some flexibility is allowed, the employee must agree to work set hours as much as possible, five days a week.
Tools will be made available to employees for managing time and tasks, communication with co-workers, logging and tracking projects and accessing resources.
Remote employees are to be online and accessible during their shift. They are expected to check-in with their managers at least once a day. Any correspondence from a co-worker or client must be answered as quickly as possible.
Confidentiality is of the highest importance at Fortify. Your position may give you the liberty to see confidential information, such as business credit card information, account passwords etc. It is imperative that you keep this information to yourself and for business purposes only. An additional confidentiality agreement will follow this handbook with more information.
