Part of the decision to hire you at Fortify was based on the work availability that you provided during the hiring process. If you require a change to your work availability at any time during your employment at Fortify, you are required to complete and submit a “Work Availability Form” to your Team Leader/Supervisor for approval a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to your requested effective date. Contact your Team Leader/Supervisor for a “Work Availability Form”.
By completing the “Work Availability Form”, you confirm that you have listed your current work availability as of the effective date. Your request to change your work availability will be reviewed and approved by your Team Leader/Supervisor, based on the needs of the company. To fulfill an operating schedule, Fortify may need to hire a new employee, and as such, may result in a reduction of hours in accordance with your altered availability.
Please note that it may not be possible to accommodate your request based on business needs. As a result it will be deemed as voluntary resignation if you can no longer honour your original availability commitment.
